I think you need to sideload” the app. This means that you do not install the
app from the Amazon Store but instead download it, probably on a |PC and then
copy it across to your fire and instqall it from there.

What you will need to do is first of all download a file manager from the
Amazon apps store like S File Explorer  so that you can install  apps and also
turn off  less secure apps in settings.

Here is what William’s Read me file says about this.
.
These apps require you to sideload to your Fire tablet since they are not
coming from the Amazon App Store. You first will need to download these files
from my server. Tapping on a file should provide you with a download option.
You can download these files to your PC and then transfer to your Fire tablet.
Or, download directly to your Fire tablet. If downloading to your Fire tablet,
look for the download in your documents folder. From there, the file can be
installed. Make sure that Apps from unknown sources is changed to YES or OK.
And, after installing, be sure to return this setting to the former setting, NO
or OFF. This setting is found on your Fire tablet by going to Quick
Settings/Settings/Privacy. Stay well. William Brandes/William Brandes

Hi William, I still can't figure out how to download Bard onto the Kindle Fire
since it is not showing up in the app store.
I did read the blog, and perhaps I am missing something.
Thanks!

Hi Joanie. I put the Bard Mobile app on my server. Here is the directory
folder, There is also a readme file:

http://www.williambrandes.com/a_apk/

I have also written a sideload post that is a bit old. But, it does talk about
some things you might encounter and answers to those situations.

For the most part, I think it will be a slam-dunk for you!

here is that link:

Stay well ... William
