concerning the readability of simple dreams.
when the author doesn't enable text-to-speech for their book.
the kindle fire will read with vcoice over.
although that was not the case with my old kindle keyboard e-reader.
another wrinkle. i powered up code-x and converted simple dreams
kindle protected format with text-to-speech disabled.
outcome?
the kindle unprotected, .epub, .mobi and .txt were all working no problem.
for the record the kindle fire and kindle keyboard both read the
kindle unprotected and .txt.
the kindle fire will also read .mobi and overdrive will read .epub.
from my end. the skinny with text read into my ear.
as far as gestures. another post /smile.

read all, for instance the two finger swipe down, although that might be a
read all for kindle only. Anyway, if there is a gesture for that, and it
will go from one page to another in the Kindle book, then maybe you will be
able to read that book simple dreams. I should try a sample on voiceover on
my iPhone. Although I do know for sure that I have read some books were TTS
was disabled but I was able to read it with voiceover. I hope it works on
the fire.
