Hi. Thanks. Will give the default email app a try. Does the book reader do mp3
audio books. And if so, does it remember your place? I have vdr but not yet
sure how well it will work on the fire. I was able to play an audio file from
drop box but haven't worked out how to rewind and navigate.

Hi Maria.
I wanted to throw my vote in for the default email app. It works well with
VoiceView and I am also able to use it really well with my braille display.
The default app for reading books also works great.
Enjoy your new toy,
Scott

Hi Maria. WOW. So many. But, here's a short list.
1. The default email on the Fire is great. I also have Gmail
installed, but, rarely use it.
2. Pandora. The free version is great! You can use Alexa to open a
saved station or she will create a new one for you. Just say: open
Pandora with the name of artist. Such as: open Pandora Bob Dylan.
3. Firefox Focus browser. Works great and is a small footprint. I
never use Silk.
4. NPR News. This is a great app and completely accessible. I listen
to Morning edition every day! Lots of featured stories as well. A
keeper!
5. If you are in the States and don't have the NLS Bard Mobile app
installed, go for it. Another great one that is completely accessible.
Just put books in your wish list and you are good-to-go.
I've got more than 50 on my home page, but, it's a start!
Stay well ... William

HI list.
Just a couple more questions. is there a list of apps out there, that are
accessible and work well with the kindle fire tablet? I have the google
play store working, so the sky’s the limit. I am thinking about email to
start with. what are people using? and browsers? games? book reading apps?
I think you get the idea.
