Thanks for this. I'll try it and see how it goes. Maybe I'm just starting too
high up? And I will try the L gesture if this doesn't work. I knew this group
would have some good ideas. Faith

Hi all. Try the L gesture. Stay well. William

I have never found the two finger swipe to work to well. It doesn't
read as fluidly as the three finger gesture.
I also find that it takes several attempts before the three finger
gesture works. Try it with the fingers really close together and do
not start at the very top of the screen, but down a little bit.
Sometimes I do the gesture my middle finger barely touching the
screen. Also do not make a really wide swiping gesture, just a quick
swipe down with the fingers. You will know that the gesture worked
when voiceview starts reading in a slightly different voice. the
volume changes and the voice reads just a tiny bit slower. Let me know
if this works remember it might take a few tries I’ve had to do it
between three and five times before it actually works sometimes other
times it works quickly

It’s a Kindle Fire 10, and I also have a Kindle Fire 8 which is doing
the same thing. It tells me to use 2 fingers to swipe down the screen.
Sometimes I do that, and sometimes I do the 3 finger swipe, which
used to be for continuous reading. Neither one works. Faith
