It’s a Kindle Fire 10, and I also have a Kindle Fire 8 which is doing the same
thing. It tells me to use 2 fingers to swipe down the screen. Sometimes I do
that, and sometimes I do the 3 finger swipe, which used to be for continuous
reading. Neither one works. Faith

Hi!!
what OS version are you using and what tablet?
Also, what gesture are you using for continuous reading? I find that some
gestures work better than others.

Hi all, It’s good to be back on the list and I hope someone here can help. I’ve
had kindle fire Tablets for years now and use them often for reading books and
other things. Lately though, I have run into a problem. When I first got my
kindles, I could read a book from start to finish with the continuous reading
setting. Now, I cannot do that. It reads for maybe 10 minutes at a time, and
then stops and I have to restart it. Have they changed the settings? And if so,
can I change them back? I have written to the Accessibility desk at Amazon, and
they say there is no one there to answer the question as they are all working
on orders of daily supplies for Amazon customers. I have thought of calling the
number, but probably wouldn’t get good results there either. I realize things
are different now, but this seems like a simple question. Anyway, can anyone
help? thanks a lot. Faith
