Bookshare provides most but not all of What I read. Still, there are some books
only available on kindle, so I'm glad my devices can read them. Now, if we
could only find a way to read books which aren't text to speech enabled, there
are two I would really like. They are craft books, and if I could get the
diagrams themoformed or made available in some other way, now that would be a
find. Probably cost me an arm and a leg, though.

Well, I suppose that’s right. Unless you don’t buy books because you don’t
have money to spend on them. But if you don’t read that much, then no. There
is no advantage.

in other words, one who buys maybe 3 or 4 books in a year, if that many,
there is no advantage.

Kindle unlimited is a program that Amazon has where you can have up to 10
free books which are part of the Kindle unlimited selection in your
library at any one time. If you want more than 10, you need to return one.
And yes, there is a fee. I think the $.99 deal might still be going on,
where you get three months for $.99, after which, the regular price kicks
in. I don’t remember what the monthly price is. I got it on prime day last
year, when it was considerably cheaper than whatever the regular price is.

I'm late to all this tablet stuff. What is kindle unlimited. Do you not
purchase the book? I gather that, like amazon music, there is a fee for
this?

Hi all,
I wonder if there is a way, short of deleting a book from your Kindle
library and then going back to the Amazon page and actually purchasing
it, where are you can simply by the book. I’m looking for a method that
would let me make a purchase from with in my Kindle fire tablet, or
maybe from within the Kindle for PC app. Just something that would turn
my unlimited book into one that I purchased and would free up a spot in
my library without me having to first go in and delete it and then go
back and re-purchase it. I hope that makes sense.
