You guys are geniuses, or is the plural of genius „Geniei?“ Just
kidding—although I live in Austria, I was born and raised in the States.
I really want to thank both of you. Since I am unable to get the Kindle Fire
manual in English over here, I probably ask more questions than most people.
Again, thanks so much!

Mike,
The two-finger double tap is for stopping and starting content such as music
or Audible books. Two-finger double tap and hold 'til you hear a sort of
ding is for using Alexa. And then also there is the one-finger double tap
and hold on the Home button for Alexa.

Hello everyone,
Up until recently, I was able to enjoy my Amazon Music Unlimited
subscription on my Kindle Fire. By doing a two-finger double-tap, I could
tell Alexa what music I wanted to hear, and it just worked. Now, whenever I
attempt the two-finger double-tap, my Fire starts playing the beginning of
an Audible book, which I never even ordered. It’s an introductory offering
from Audible.
I am wondering a few things:
1. I am new to the Android world. Is it possible to remove apps such as
Audible, which I have no intention of using and if so, how does one go about
deleting apps from the Fire?
2. How do I restore the two-finger double-tap to make requests to Alexa?
Thanks for your assistance, and have a great weekend!
Mike
