Thanks for this, William, it helps a lot. I'm catching up on email, so excuse
my tardiness. Faith

Subject: [vi-kindle] Re: Newest Fire tablet update
Hi all. Did more snooping. The "recent" tab has been replaced by a "for you"
tab.
I think I was too quick with the swiping. At least to my ears the "for you"
information comes after the "home" tab.
Just tap this new tab and the information follows.
Here is what it says on the Amazon website. If it ain't on my 7 inch Fire now,
it's coming!
Navigate Your Fire Tablet
Your installed applications appear in the App Grid on the Home screen of your
Fire tablet. Swipe left and right to explore dedicated content pages for Books,
Video, Music, and more. Help for 4th Generation, 5th Generation, 6th
Generation, and 7th Generation Fire Tablets.
At the top of the Home screen, you can navigate the different content
categories of your device by swiping right to left on the Category Bar. Tap a
content page (for example, Books) to view your recently accessed content for
that category and well as suggested content that you might enjoy.
Swipe left to right to see your For You page, which shows recently viewed
content and content recommendations, weather, featured photos from Prime
Photos, and more.
Stay well ... William
