Good morning, afternoon or evening, wherever you may be.
My name is Siena, and I'm brand new to the list, and fairly new to Fire OS,
having only had my 9th generation Fire 7 tablet for a little over a month.
I've figured out that some of the gestures are similar to TalkBack on
Android and VoiceOver on iOS, i.e. swiping left and right to go backwards
and forwards one item at a time, and double tapping to activate an item.
However, I would like to be able to use my Bluetooth keyboard to navigate
the tablet. Are there any keyboard shortcuts to emulate the VoiceView
gestures? Another thing I've noticed is that when I want to edit something
that I've typed, VoiceView doesn't read back the letters, words or lines as
I'm navigating by character, word or line using the arrow keys or CTRL+the
arrow keys. Is there a way to read by character, word or line using a
physical keyboard?
Also, I know that a lot of people including myself install the Google Play
Store on their Fire tablets, and I was wondering whether this topic is
something that allowed on this list or should I refrain from it?
