one thing i think you need to do, is sync your two readers. you have
to go to the amazon page under kindle where there are alot of stuff
you can do with your registration. i don't have my sync'd, but, that
might make it easier in your case.
i have my original 2nd generation keyboard and a newer (had it for
several months) the kindle fire 6" - both have their good points. i
have also paired the kindle fire with a anchor bluetooth keyboard
which works quite well. but, all of this is a learning curve since i
never had a touch device before. but, love it now!
as for speed, you were in the right place i believe. when reading a
book, you can open a sidebar which has the speed control. just keep
trying. you'll get it! but, it takes some getting used to running
blind.

I Have some books on my account and they have synchronised.
My first question is that I have a book that I have been reading and am
quite a way through on the old Keyboard. I Need to open this one on the new
unit and move to quite a way through to the book to pick up reading where I
left off.
I Am not having much luck finding out how to do this and how to change the
reading speed of the book. I Can bring up the menu by double tapping in the
middle of the screen which gives me options, there is a speed control there
but I can't seem to change this.
Any help would be much appreciated!
