Keep in mind, sense that review, the following shortcuts have been added to the Kindle:
To toggle Voice Guide on and off: Shift plus Space.Text-to-Speech: Press Shift plus Symbol to stop or play and Space bar to pause or resume.
I feel these shortcuts are a big improvement to the Kindle accessibility.-----Original Message----- From: Craig Werner

Here is a review which, although now old (relatively speaking) contains clear and helpful information. http://serotalk.com/2010/09/28/an-accessibility-review-of-the-amazon-kindle-3/ Craig On 8/17/2012 9:32 PM, David Goldfield wrote:
Hello. I recently was given a Kindle Keyboard 3G unit as a gift and am up and running with it and, in spite of its accessibility shortcomings, really like it and am grateful to the library now accessible to me. I decided to join this group as I wish to exchange tips and ideas with other blind Kindle users. I've downloaded both demonstrations from the Techtalk archives as well as a demo from Vision Australia. If others know of additional blindness Kindle resources I'd love to know about them. David
