hi all. of course, nothing is perfect. but, did they find this page?
it was the first amazon page by doing a google of "amazon kindle
ereader accessibility"

just a cursory glance at this information and a bit of reflective
thinking would have one come to the conclusion that giving a blind
person a kindle with bluetooth enabled audio would create a hurdle
that could not be jumped without sighted help.
that's a negative that i have already written about.
on the other hand, i do agree with one comment. i can find no
suggestions from amazon on bluetooth speakers or headphones for the
new kindle ereader. however, perhaps that is because they don't
suggest products they don't produce. think?
that said, i did get some good advice on the kindle discussion forums
on amazon. for that matter, i have gotten alot of good advice and help
on those forums!
if i have the inquisitiveness and the ability to do these searches and
click on links for such information, why can't someone else?
just because i'm blind doesn't allow me to pull the helpless/clueless card.
there is a big difference between being a non-techie and helpless.
perhaps it is gene driven. but, it can be learned!
heck, i might just purchase this new ereader in order to do a review
myself /smile. my kindle keyboard won't last forever.
