Hi William,
I just resent this kind of unsolicited advertising. On the other hand, while I
have not done so recently, I used to have a few subscriptions in the Amazon
Kindle newsstand. Stuff was very accessible, unlike my sad experience with the
Apple news stand, where everything I tried was useless. Sent from my iPhone

hi mary. the link was an invitation to receive a free sample
subscription for x number of weeks.
you are correct that amazon and the washington post are owned by the same
name.
however i did not take offense at the link. just business. i ignored.
and, later removed.
especially, since i can receive rss feeds from the sections that i am
interested in.
not to mention that there are many resources including newsline. i
find it great there are so many options!
including devices. i own a windows tablet (i am writing on right now)
and, am debating on getting the newest version of the 7" samsung
galaxy tab! onward and upward.
stay well ... william

I'm pretty sure the Washington Post somehow comes preinstalled, or at least
a sample or something came preinstalled on my recently purchased fire
tablet. You know Jeff Bezos, probably spelled wrong, owns the Washington
Post. I was disgusted with the preinstall and got rid of it. Just because I
could. Seriously, I didn't appreciate being spammed.
