This has nothing to do with a kindle, but you could always purchase a go bible
from maxi aids or independent living aids, or maybe the blind mice mega mall.
Its a tiny device about the size of a credit card and it contains the whole
bible on it. You can get different versions such as the king james version and
niv version. You can navigate by by book, chapter, or verse. You can also
navigate by story. and you can create bookmarks. All of the menues talk and are
fully accessible. There is also a topic index. This is what I use, and I
absolutely love it.

There are at least a few versions of the bible available on the Kindle store.
With a Kindle version of the bible, you could use the Kindle app on a tablet
to read it, or , you could have the Echo Dot read it. It has been some time
since I used the Kindle app on my Fire tablet, so I'm not sure of the
granularity of movement, such as by letter, word, sentence, etc., you might
have with VoiceView. I do know that you won't have a lot of control over the
reading of a Kindle book with the Dot. Speaking of the Dot, though, there
might be some bible skills available. If so, then you could have Alexa use
that skill either on the Dot or on a Fire tablet that has Alexa available.
Don't know if this helped any, but there it is. (Smile)
