Hi Delma. It isn't an app. It's an Alexa skill. I have other skills,
and, some of them are default. If you ask Alexa, what is the weather,
that is a default Alexa skill. The instructions that I gave is for
another skill, this one to ring your phone.
Note that I was successful in installing the trackr app and setting it
up. But, the app rings my tablet not my phone. Strange, but, I think
the app will only work on phone to phone.
Or, perhaps to a smartphone. Or, maybe echo to phone. I neither own an
echo or smartphone, so, can't test those situations.
Although the skill does make me believe that the Fire tablet could
make standard wi-fi calls to any phone if set-up that way. The skill
kinda proves that to me. I'm gonna have to do some digging on what is
the deal there! Although, I suspect that that capability is being
dampened. By wireless providers and cell-phone manufacturers!
But, who knows. Maybe there is a middle-school-age-wizard out there
that has figured it out!
I have Google Voice installed on my Fire tablet and all of the calls I
made with Alexa Find My Phone show up from the same number and as
missed calls. Interesting!
Stay well ... William
