No.  They were deregistered, and my experience has been very different with 
Kindle support.  I spent 3 hours with them on Saturday or Sunday, only to be 
told the problem was on my end.  It isn't, and I'm not going through that 
again.  I have completely uninstalled the App, and doubt I will even bother 
to try to get it back.

Did you have another one registered before?  You may have to derregister
that one.  Did you call them?  They are helpful, in my experience.
