My PC app isn't opening either. I haven't tried to use it in several weeks but tested it today, after reading Shoshana's message. And I never uninstalled the non accessible version and that one doesn't open either. When you uninstalled the software, did you delete the Kindle folder from your C:\Users\Your_Username_Application Data folder? I may do this soon.
