I haven't tried this, but you could try asking your echo to read the book from
the beginning. Alternatively, you could go into your Kindle app and put focus
on the beginning of the book. Then ask your echo to read. Since they sync up,
all these Kindle apps and devices, it might be that this is the cause of why
your echo was reading just the end, since that's where focus has been in the
original app.
