Just ordered a fire and been doing well with my kindle keyboard. What is voice dream reader? I actually like the kindle keyboard male voice for reading. Is this available?
Thanks.

OK thanks for that clarification.
I did not want it as my default voice anyway as I think it is confusing to have a book reading TTS and a system TTS which is identical.
Eloquence shows up fine in voice Dream Reader so I guess it can be used there but apparently not as a system voice.

I suppose you could try installing talkback which would presumably pick it up but I will not personally go that route. If I want to read Kindle with Eloquence I will use my old Android phone.

David: I did install Code Factory's Eloquence from the Google Play Store, but since Kindle Fire uses Voice View and not Voice Assistant (Formerly Talk Back,) While installation was successful, only the two voices in the Ivona Voice Engine is shown and other engines are ignored by Voice View.
