Hi David. I'm sure you haven't filled up your screen. I have over 50
apps on my Fire tablet.
Try these ideas:
1. Of course, you can start swiping through the screen immediately,
but, that will start you at the top. Instead, try mousing your finger
further down the screen and start swiping from there.
2. Go to the bottom of the screen, starting with app switcher, home
and back and then swipe backwards through the screen.
3. Go to settings and look under storage.
4. Go to apps on your home page, swipe right til you get to app library and tap.
5. Try Alexa. Say something like "open name of app" and see if that works.
6. If all else fails, open ES File Explorer and look and open your
apps from there.
I have not found any better swipe than the simple left and right swipe
to work on the home screen. The plus, at least in my experience, once
you open an app, the shortcut will always remain on the home screen.
