Hi.
To add a bookmark:
1. Make sure you are focused on where you'd like the bookmark to be
added in your book.
2. While your book is open, double-tap with one finger. It doesn't
matter where on the screen you double-tap. This will open a menu of
options which are available in the book.
3. Swipe to Bookmarks and double-tap.
4. Swipe to "Add Bookmark" and double-tap, which adds a bookmark.
To locate your previously added bookmarks, repeat steps 1 through 3.
However, you will now see a section in this menu which reads "Your
Bookmarks."
Swipe past this and you will hear a section of the page where you
previously added your bookmarks. Double-tapping a sentence in this menu
should take you to the page with the bookmark.

I have several cookbooks on my 5th Generation Fire. I want to keep
them for reference. I want to mark recipes that I liked or that I want
to try. I know how to set a bookmark in Kindle for PC, but how do I do
it on the Fire? I tried searching in Google but didn't find much
information that seemed pertinent.
I tried opening the Help section, but it seems to open in Silk browser.
I could get VoiceView to read headings but not much else. Any help
would be appreciated.
