I tried the app from the google store, and it wouldn't even let me download it.
It said that it is only for android devices. And while the fire is a form of
android, it is modified by Amazon to make their own operating system, so not
every android app works. I was sorry to hear this, but we do have bard mobile
which works well. Faith

It is in the App Store for amazon, but I found out the hard way that it is not
compatible with the 8 inch or the 10 inch kindle. Unless something has changed
in the last few weeks.

hi russ and all. i looked again for vdr using my fire. you're correct.
not there anymore.
so, going out on a limb, those (including myself) with the google play store
installed on their fire could try the app found in that store.
and, see what happens.
i have several apps not found in the amazon app store, but, work well
accessible-wise.
if they aren't built to accessible standards, they won't work well no matter
where you get them.
just an idea.
stay well ... william
