No. You cannot run talk back on a fire tablet.

Hello everyone,
As I've mentioned in my previous messages, I managed to get the Google Play
Store running on my 9th generation Fire Tablet, and have installed all of my
favourit Android apps. However, the only app that I haven't been able to
install was the Android Accessibility Suite app, which it just says the app
can't be installed, no rhyme or reason. So I managed to install a forked
version of Android Accessibility Suite using an app called App Cloner. I
needed to change the name to TalkBack, as the Fire tablet wouldn't recognize
it under its original name, Android Accessibility Suite. It works well, and
there are no crashes whatsoever, however it doesn't save my TalkBack settings
when I restart the tablet or suspend and resume TalkBack. Instead, it reverts
back to TalkBack's default settings. I was wondering whether any of you have
managed to get TalkBack working on your Fire devices, and if so how did you
manage to get it to work?
Many thanks in advance for any light that you can shed on this issue.
Kind regards,
SIena.
