hi. yes, while in the kindle book. however, it's a swipe up (not down)
and left in one continuous motion.
i think of it as a hard right angle turn to the left at the top of the
page. play with it and you will get the feel over time.
note that this gesture will often get you to the home page in all kind
of windows including the internet browser.
