Hi William.
Strangely. I was listening to a kindle book yesterday, the exact same one I
have been listening to and experienced the problem with and it read
continuously no bother. How odd.

Subject: [vi-kindle] Re: Continuous Reading On the Fire With OS 5.3.2.1
hi kerry. yep. same here. unless there is a setting adjustment to keep the
window open (or, not to have the fire continuous reading close when the fire
goes to screen-lock), it's another problem that needs a fix in the next update.
i really don't see why this is a problem for amazon accessibility, since i have
apps that will continue to play when the fire window is locked.
stay well ... william

Hi. I hope you've all had a good Christmas and Santa bought you all

In between partying, I did get a bit of down time with my fire and
have noticed something very bizarre when using continuous reading in
the kindle app with OS5.3.2.1. Reading seems to be ok for a little
while and then the screen locks. Nothing unusual there, but after a
short while after the screen has locked, continuous reading stops
also. I haven't tried this on multiple books and can't be sure
whether or not it's the book which is the problem so thought I'd throw it out
here.
Has anyone else experience this?
