Oh, I think that's doubtful. Firstly, it's synthesized speech so… not audio
recordings at all. Secondly, there's a five second blip at the beginning of
each file that says "Please respect Bookshare's copyright policy in the use of
this audio file." I'm sure a pirate could snip those out, but it'd take a lot
of work for, again, synthesized speech. And I'm sure their legal team has OKed
the decision. *smile*
