Hi Gerardo. Are your apps from the Amazon app store or the Google Play
Store? I think that can make a difference.
I have the 7 inch 5th generation Fire tablet, 8 GB internal memory.
Only difference from yours is that I don't have hands-free Alexa.
Note that I have cleared my home screen of most apps that I have
installed, and, have them in the cloud. Over time, I realized that I
used certain apps all the time and others occasionally. Doing this, I
have 1.8 GB of space open on my internal drive.
I also installed a 16 GB external card, but, use it mostly for storing
offline music files of which I have a bunch.
Using Alexa has also changed the use of some apps. I now listen to the
PBS News Hour, CBS Evening News and NBC Nightly News through Alexa
instead of the apps which I deleted. Other podcasts, such as Eyes on
Success, I also listen with Alexa instead of using the app.
Saying all this, If you have a file manager installed, I use ES File
Explorer, it will allow you to copy/paste or move files/apps from one
drive to another. You might want to give that a try!

Why then does my Tablet's Internal storage still reports as 440MB of
5.63GB? Thanks for any cklarifications on this matter.
