Yes, it is a problem for me as well with my 8 inch, seventh generation tablet.
It is less of an issue with the 8 inch, eighth generation tablet, although I
would like for the volume to be even louder still. I know others who are also
experiencing this same concern with their fire tablets. In addition, when first
booting up my 8 inch, seventh generation tablet, the text to speech voice
volume is very low, but then becomes louder after the first minute or so of
