It is available for Android on the play store and on the Kindle Fire app store.

Michael,
As far as I can tell, Ootunes is only available for iOS devices and isn't
available for Android. If I'm incorrect about this I would appreciate being
corrected.

My favorite app for listening to radio stations is OOtunes. The reason I
prefer it to Tune-In, which I also have, is that it lets me listen to more
stations in the States than does Tune-In.
I haven’t tried OOTunes on my Fire yet, but I use it on the Victor Reader
Stream and on my iPhone.
Currently, if I want to listen to radio stations on my Kindle, I have Alexa
accomplish this for me by just saying: Play WNYC on Tune-In, and it works fine.
Best,
Mike

TuneIn works well on the Kindle Fire, too. I have all my favorite stations in
TuneIn, and one of them is NBC Nightly news.

Hi Michael. Totally agree! Yes. That is a superb app. Completely accessible.
There aren't many this good. Excepting perhaps for the Fire tablet default apps
and the Bard Mobile app.
I use NPR News every day. Love the audio podcasts of Morning Edition.
But, much more!
I also use in the news department, PBS News Hour and NBC News, but, you have to
fudge around to get familiar with them. However, they do work well!
Stay well ... William

Hello everybody,
Finally,, instead of always asking questions, I can hopefully impart
some useful information to others for a change.
The Kindle Fire is new to me, but I am having lots of fun slowly
familiarizing myself with it. I love and live on my iDevices, but I
am actually coming to the conclusion that iOS devices aren’t the only
game in town.
An app that I use all the time on my iPhone is called NPR One, which
allows people to listen to NPR content and podcasts nonstop. Since
the app works so well on my iPhone, I was wondering if it was
available for my Kindle Fire as well. I am happy to report that it is
available, and it seems to work very well. I haven’t tried out all of
its features on my Kindle Fire yet, but my initial conclusion is that
it works very nicely. If you are a news junky, you will enjoy this app.
Best regards to all of you,
Mike
