Just taken a look at the settings for the temperature. When I swipe from left
to right For the temperature it is not clear whether it is set to metric or
not, although the other settings are much clearer as to which they are set to.

Hi Henry. Think I figured it out. Tap on the Alexa app on your
homepage. In that app you will find a drop-down menu. You will hear it
right at the top of the page. Tap for that menu. Swipe to settings.
You will find listed the location settings of your Fire and the
possibility to change temperature F and C settings.
