Hi all. I would suggest that what Alexa can do might be limited by
ones imagination. For instance, it can't bake a pizza, but, you can
order one, or, be provided a recipe.
There are over 30,000 skills to date and growing. Alot of them are
tinkle-dust, but, what's new!
For me, here is a new one that I am using and like alot. It came
resulting from the thread of wanting to have voice dictation write and
send an email.
This skill is called Voice Pad. The results are sent to you by email
with a twist. You can record short messages, each saved and then sent
finally in mass when you select send. For the past week I've been
using it as a daily recorder, a laundry list of sorts, recording all
the tidbits I want to remember and check on later. Often it is book
titles that I learn of and I want to find out if they are available
for free download from several sources I have.
This is a case of imagination. Before, I would either forget or be in
the right place to open in notepad on my laptop and write down.
Try Voice Pad on your Fire tablet as well. You might like it!
