Yeah, I think that is where I got myself confused.

However, before David ever mentioned trying to use a keyboard with the
application, he said that he was having issues using explore by touch and
swiping through the application to get information from it. While it may be
true that talkback has keyboard commands that would make this easier, the tone
of Dennis's messages to point this out came off as being extremely rude. It is
in fact the same type of message I'd expect to see on eyes-free, certainly not
here on this one where things seem to be of a friendlier nature?
If I were going to install an application such as this email client and see
if it were accessible with tb or Samsung's voice assist, I'd probably not think
to check to see if the screenreader had some sort of specialized keyboard
commands to use said application, most especially if I were trying to use
explore by touch first, which as far as I understand, has absolutely nothing to
do with the keyboard?
Please let me know if I'm incorrect though. :)
Take care.

Fair enough. I admit I did not see that part of the message. My bad.

Dennis, I don't think he's using a keyboard.

I am not criticising you I am simply pointing out that it is not an
issue with the app. Look under talk back settings and keyboard commands.

I was not saying it was anybody’s fault. I was asking for somebody to
help me by pointing me to some guidance.
I hope that this is not a list where people get angry if if somebody is
struggling with anything this is seen as a criticism of Android which of course
cannot be allowed.
I had enough of that on Eyes Free which is why I left it.

It’s not aqua mail’s fault your not using the talk back keyboard
commands.

I wonder if anybody can point me to any guidance on how to use Aqua
Mail Pro. I installed this as there were good results on accessibility.
However I have so far found it extremely difficult to use.
The app clearly has a nice preview function bbut when using swiping I
am constantly hearing stuff like selector star indicator and so on. When I
eventually find the email I need in question – double tapping does not always
seem to reliably open the email.
When I try to read by for example using swiping or explore by touch I
am getting unpredictable results. On several occasions I find myself hearing
the contents of emails which are nothing to do with the email I thought I have
had open.
I am more used to iOS and find that very easy for general email
reading but I want to use Android also whilst I am away as there are
occasions that I need to download content from links in emails which is
extremely difficult in iOS.
So I am turning to Android and I thought Aqua Mail from reports would
be a good bet. Would what I am trying to do be actually be easier in another
Email app? Support for reading of eamils using a Bluetooth keyboard also seems
very poor in Aqua mail.

Finding and executing links in Aqua Mail seems very difficult.
