Jean:

Just in case this helps, here's how I did it.  If this is too obvious and
easy, please forgive.  I don't know anybody else's skill level and I don't
want to blind-splain anything to anyone who may know a whole lot more about
technology than I do.
But just in case this helps somebody, here's what worked for me.

The link I used was this one.

http://baumusa.com/support/

First, go to the link and press enter on the file you want.  Using Chrome, I
personally like to press control enter to open in a new tab and then press
control tab to get to that tab.  That way, I am sure I will get back to the
same page so I can download the next file. But I have to remember to close
all the windows with Control w for each one.

Anyway, whether you just press enter or go to a new tab, following the link
to the file you want will take you to a dropbox page.  If you are using JAWS
2018 and Chrome, this is what happens.

You will see the name of the file you want with the zip extension near the
top of the page. Using the JAWS Virtual Cursor, arrow down till you see
download black down pointing small triangle button menu.  Press spacebar
here.  The menu will open, and you have the choice between direct download
or download to dropbox.  Use up and down arrow to move between the two
choices.  I usually choose direct download so I won't have to fiddle around
with signing into Dropbox, but it's your choice.  From here on out, it's
like any other download.

Going through Dropbox adds a small extra step to the process of downloading,
but it isn't that much of an issue once you figure it out.  It's just
another download with one small extra step.

I hope this helps somebody.  Everybody else can just hit delete.

Subject: [varioultra] update files

Hello All:

I went to the web site link to  get the update file plus the patch for IOS
11 however, the files I found there are html files. Can someone direct me as
to how to get the correct files?

Also, is the ios patch absolutely necessary in order to use the Vario with
ios 11 or is it optional?

Many thanks,

Jean
