The VU is the only braille notetaker I have that can handle Gaelic well.
There are a number of accented letters that are essential to understanding,
just as there are in French and other languages. The VU displays them
correctly in 8-dot mode, and I can write them as well. My other notetakers
don't. If my VU dies, I'll be out of luck with my Irish studies, unless I
can find some replacement I can afford that works as well.
