I’m working at the BAUM (USA) office, and have a VarioUltra 20 connected with
an iPhone 6 and a MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015). My phone and
computer are running on the latest iOS and OS versions.
With my VarioUltra 20, I can walk approximately 50 feet away and still maintain
connections over Bluetooth. I stopped walking further than that as I was
outside our front door at 50 feet away. Performance appears the same whether
I’m actively connected to my phone or the computer.
I can’t imagine what might cause a VarioUltra to break the Bluetooth connection
within 10 feet, or 4 or 5 meters. It certainly doesn’t sound like normal
performance to me. If the problem persists, please reach out to
support@xxxxxxxxxxx. It might be that we have you send your device in for
service so that we can test the Bluetooth technology for you.
