I recently learned that the assets of BAUM Retec in Germany had been sold to
another company in Germany. These assets include products like VarioUltra. I do
not know the name of the new company yet. A person identifying themselves as
being in charge of production for braille products, contacted me yesterday via
LinkedIn asking if I wish to know more about the new company. I replied saying
that of course I'm interested, and asked what their plans are for ongoing
support of customers worldwide.
