this is a normal effect when you have mixed up two different settings.
When you default setting ist hat new files of word processor are in brf format
you are allowed to type braille in any way you want. grade 1, Grade 2, UEB or
computerbraille of any language. The dotrs you enter will be presented
according tot he braille table.
When you have the document in txt or rtf file format your entered text is
influenced by your individual settings of master switch computerbraille on or
off.
This means: When you have switched off master switch computer braille and your
individual setting is grade 2 you are not allowed to enter any characters with
dot 7 and 8 in a rtf or txt file.
The buttons ok and cancel belong to a hidden input box which is only in use
when you are typing in a rtf or txt file and the master switch computerbraille
is off and a grade 1 or grade 2 or UEB setting is enabeled.
Please check your settings or change the file format for new documents.

Betreff: [varioultra] A few problems with word processor
Hi all. I am experiencing two problems with the word processor, and I’m
wondering if anyone else has experience them.
First, when I open a new document and start typing a few words, all of a
sudden a dialog box pops up on the display, with a cancel button and an OK
button. There doesn’t seem to be any text in the dialog box though, so I
have no idea what it is referring to. I have tried performing context
sensitive help, but that doesn’t provide any information either, so I have no
idea why I am presented with a cancel button and an OK button randomly.
Don’t know if the other problem is related to this, but the option to save a
document in the brf format is not showing up, when opening the save as
dialog box. I thought this was the default file type for the word processor,
and I have made sure that I am set to use contracted braille, so not sure why
this option is not showing up.
If anyone has seen these issues before, or has any ideas, I would appreciate
it very much.
