First priority is completion of AMBTC pass the written test, complete
practical exercises in Appendix G.
Remember to record the date of completion on the Appendix G task list.
Listen to Region 3 nets. Read the voice sop, check into as many nets in
Region 3 as you can. When you are
comfortable with the procedures, volunteer to be NCS (Net Control Station).
Being NCS on the Saturday /Tango
net will build your confidence for the regular nets.
MARS 101.1 the Road Ahead and FEMA Courses ICS 100, 200, 700 and 800 can
wait until you have
completed the AMBTC.
