They once tried to nest under a bridge downtown. That spot could do with
some monitoring in someone's spare time.

Yesterday we did a very quick stop in James City County Chickahominy
Riverfront Park & saw one peregrine falcon from dock near park entrance.
Peregrine was perched under bridge that brings John Tyler Highway (Route 5)
across the Chickahominy River; on top of a bridge support, second support
from the east bank, on the west side of the support. Osprey were in the
area & exchanged calls with peregrine but peregrine didn't leave spot.
What a delight!
