A quick run to get the newspaper this morning had Bluebirds sitting on their house tending their 2nd clutch of eggs for the season, Blackpolls still squeaking in the trees and even a Yellow-rump warbler I pished almost sat on my head. Many Redstarts and Great-crested Flycatchers in the yard also. American Goldfinch hitting the Thistle heavy. Confirmed nesters so far here at my house: Eastern Bluebird Grey Catbird Brown Thrasher Carolina Chickadee Tufted Titmouse Northern Cardinal Robin Tree-swallow-(just behind our yard) Take a kid birding!
