I spent a delightful hour and a half at the Wetlands after work today. I heard my FOY White-eyed Vireo near the entrance, and found a flock of 50+ Rusty Blackbirds foraging the swamp along the boardwalk. There was also a Hermit Thrush flitting around back there. There were a couple of Yellow-throated Warblers singing, and I also found a few Yellow-rumped Warblers, one Palm Warbler, and one Pine Warbler. Gnatcatchers were plentiful. One Barred Owl was calling back toward the golf course. As I was leaving, the Rusties were roosting in the trees on the west side of the meadow.
