Yesterday morning there was a raft of 60+ CANVASBACKS on the east side lake at 
West Creek parkway. The herd of Canada geese has thinned down from a winter 
high of 500+ to 58; however the 6 RUDDY DUCKS that have been hanging around all 
winter were still there, as was the juvenile double-crested cormorant
