2012 Festival and the bird walks leading up to the festival.*

*Purple Martins have returned to Shockoe Bottom! Come watch them! You can
see them roost every night in the pear trees on 17th St. near the Farmers'
Market. From July 18 through Aug. 1, every Wednesday and Sunday evening at
7:30 pm, a bird walk will be led by a member of the Purple Martin
Conservation Association or the Richmond Audubon Society. Please meet at
the North end of the Farmers' Market. *
