The list got going pretty well again today: Double-Breasted Comorant Eastern Bluebird Tufted Titmouse Redtailed Hawk (the two species of hawks were actually in close proximity to one another; they started soaring the thermals together for a bit before drifting off in separate directions) Redshouldered Hawk Redheaded Woodpecker (overrun by them; if you want to see these birds in abundance, this is the place to do it) Mallard Duck (saw a pair with no less then 10 ducklings) White-eyed Vireo Veery Yellow-rumped Warbler Northern Cardinal Belted Kingfisher (the pair was hunting separately and later was perched together on a log in Gregory Pond) Redwinged Blackbird Blue Jay Tree Swallow Whitethroated Sparrow Marsh Sparrow Redbellied Woodpecker Boat-tailed Grackle American Crow Great Blue Heron Carolina Chickadee Carolina Wren You are subscribed to VA-Richmond-General.
