[va-richmond-general] Selasphorus Hummingbird in Chester and other garden fun... 22 and 23 Sept 2012

Have had a Selasphorus Hummingbird in the yard the last 2 days as well as several Ruby Throats. The Lantana and Mexican Sage seem to be the biggest draw for the little guys over the feeders. I have at least 8 garden spiders in the yard, the most I have ever seen. Butterflies and grasshoppers are abundant. The shrubs which produce berries are weighted down with lots of fruit...hopefully the sign of a cold winter??
