Hi Everyone,

Tour of the Heron Rookery Tomorrow: If you have not had a chance to visit the
Rookery yet, please come out for a rookery tour on March 12th and/or 26th. The
biweekly tours, which start at 10:00 AM through noon, are hosted by James River
Parks System Manager Ralph White as well as expert birders from the National
Audubon Society and Richmond Audubon Society. The cost is $5 per person to
benefit the Park System and Audubon.

Please come and enjoy this amazing natural wonder right here in the midst of
Richmond. Don't forget your binoculars.

Check out the Great Blue Heron Rookery Project website: For those of you who
may not already know, and a reminder for those who do, the National Audubon
Society's Virginia IBA Program and Dominion Resources have teamed up to provide
weekly videos, photographs and information about Richmond's Great Blue Heron
rookery on the James River between the 9th and 14th Street Bridges.
Please check out: http://varookery.audubon.org

There are 3 videos posted on the site and many pictures. Check back regularly!
