An article in today's Richmond Times-Dispatch reports that the city's resident Peregrine Falcons have nested on a high ledge on the north side of Riverfront Plaza, West Tower, at the intersection of Byrd and Ninth Streets at the north end of the Manchester Bridge. This is about 300 meters south of their previous nest. As of 16 March, three eggs were in the nest and plans were in place to mount a camera at the nest site before hatching time, ca. mid-April.
