The weather couldn't be better for the Rice Center field trip. This was the third trip of the 2007 Maymont-VCU Discovery Institute. Highlights include Red-headed Woodpecker, watching a Blue-gray Gnatcatcher pair make a nest, and a Solitary Sandpiper walking on the mudflats along Lake Charles.
