Subject: [va-richmond-general] Rehabbers

It's getting close to spring, and in the springtime birds tend to have
greater instances of mishaps: Migrating birds believe those towers of
windows are passages to the north; Cool Males bang themselves repeatedly
against their own image defending their territory(At least a notch above
us human males as portrayed in the beer commercials); young birds fall
out of nests or get injured by sneaky predators. A lot can go wrong with
birds, especially in the springtime. So, we need to help out those
devoted folks who take all our calls, and receive and care for all these
wild critters we bring to them.
Tomorrow at Rockwood Park ARK(Area Rehabbers Klub) is having a
"wild" baby shower, noon til 4pm, or check www.welcome.to/arkva to help
out.

Thanks, John Coe
