Susan and I walked the whole loop at Dutch Gap this morning. I was
surprised to hear, and then see, two Common Ravens fly right overhead.
This is my first record for Chesterfield Co, though I have heard of them
possible in the quarry that is visible from I-95. More evidence of their
increasing numbers and eastward movement I suppose.
I also saw 5 Amer. Pipits that flew off of the low-stature grassland
behind the fence. E. Bluebirds were in good numbers, maybe 40 - 50 on the
fenceline.
